About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Pharmacy Assistant to join our team at Save-On-Foods Limited Partnership. As a Pharmacy Assistant, you will play a vital role in supporting our pharmacists and providing exceptional customer service to our patients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist Pharmacists: Provide support to our pharmacists in dispensing medications, answering patient questions, and maintaining a clean and organized pharmacy environment.
  • Customer Service: Deliver exceptional customer service to patients, responding to their inquiries and resolving any issues in a timely and professional manner.
  • Inventory Management: Assist in maintaining accurate inventory levels, ordering supplies, and ensuring that all medications are properly stored and secured.
  • Screening Questions: Participate in screening patients to determine their eligibility for certain medications and programs.
  • Health Benefits: Assist patients in understanding their health benefits, including dental, disability, and health care plans.
  • Long-term Benefits: Provide information to patients about long-term benefits, such as long-term care insurance and maternity and parental benefits.
Requirements
  • Education: Completion of an Other trades certificate or diploma.
  • Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a related field.
  • Language: Fluency in English.
  • Work Hours: 32 to 40 hours per week.
