About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Pet Care Specialist to join our team at PET PALACE hotel, daycare & grooming. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional care and attention to our furry friends.

Key Responsibilities
  • Bathing and shampooing animals to ensure their cleanliness and comfort
  • Clipping animal coats to maintain their appearance and health
  • Documenting animal behavior to ensure their well-being and safety
  • Monitoring animal behavior to identify any potential issues
  • Preparing food and feeding animals to meet their dietary needs
  • Cleaning and disinfecting cages, pens, aquariums, kennels, runs, stalls, and enclosures to maintain a clean and safe environment
  • Keeping records of animals treated to ensure accurate tracking and reporting
Requirements
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
  • Experience in animal care is an asset
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Work Setting

This role is based in our pet shop, where you will work closely with our team to provide exceptional care and service to our customers and their pets.
