Job Title: Irrigation Technician

About the Role:

Clintar Commercial Outdoor Services is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Irrigation Technician to join our Landscape Maintenance division. As an Irrigation Technician, you will be responsible for managing a route within the GTA, York, and Durham areas, ensuring the efficient and timely completion of irrigation projects, service, and repairs.

Key Responsibilities:

• Installation of irrigation systems, including service and repairs, system openings, and closings.

• Perform irrigation system spring start-ups, season adjustments, and winterizations.

• Troubleshoot and repair irrigation system problems, including replacing sprinklers and fixing leaks.

• Test completed irrigation systems for proper functioning of valves and timers.

• Utilize hand and power tools, as well as perform hand trenching with a shovel.

Requirements:

• 2 to 5 years of experience as an Irrigation Service Technician.

• Extensive knowledge of irrigation products, specialized tools, troubleshooting, and repair.

• Valid Class "G" driver's license with a clean driving record and driver's abstract.

• Self-motivated, eager to learn, and a positive attitude.

• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.

• Physically fit to work outdoors in all weather conditions for extended periods.

• Ability to effectively communicate in English, both oral and written.
