About the Role

As a Clinical Therapist - Behavioral Health Specialist, you will play a vital role in our multidisciplinary treatment team. Your primary responsibilities will include:

  • Conducting thorough biopsychosocial assessments to identify individual needs and develop personalized treatment plans.
  • Collaborating with internal and external professionals to ensure seamless care coordination.
  • Participating in outreach and marketing efforts to promote services and attract new referrals.

You will work closely with our treatment team to provide holistic care that addresses the unique needs of each individual. This may involve participating in regular treatment team meetings, developing safety plans, and coordinating with emergency services as needed.

Responsibilities

Key responsibilities of this role include:

  • Performing comprehensive biopsychosocial assessments to determine individual needs and develop treatment plans.
  • Utilizing standardized assessment tools and techniques to gather relevant information.
  • Creating individualized treatment plans in collaboration with individuals, families, and the treatment team.
  • Delivering therapeutic interventions in individual, group, and family therapy sessions.
  • Implementing therapeutic techniques to address various mental health issues, such as anxiety, depression, trauma, and behavioral disorders.
  • Providing consistent and comprehensive services to all assigned individuals on your caseload.
  • Ensuring regular contact and follow-up with individuals to monitor progress and adjust treatment plans as necessary.
  • Accurately documenting all client interactions, treatment plans, progress notes, and other required documentation within established timeframes per company policy.
  • Ensuring compliance with all regulatory and organizational standards.
  • Working closely with other professionals as a multidisciplinary treatment team to provide holistic care.
  • Participating in regular treatment team meetings to discuss progress and treatment strategies of individuals served.
  • Providing immediate support and intervention during crisis situations.
  • Developing safety plans and coordinating with emergency services when necessary.
  • Engaging in community outreach to promote mental health services and attract new clients.
  • Connecting individuals and families with additional resources and support services as needed.
  • Staying current with best practices, new treatment modalities, and emerging trends in mental health therapy.
  • Participating in ongoing training, workshops, and professional development opportunities.
Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A Master's degree in Social Work, Counseling, or related field.
  • A current professional license in the state of Georgia as a LPC, LMFT, or LCSW.
