Job Description:

As a Meat Cutting Specialist, you will be responsible for preparing and cutting various types of meat products for our customers. Your attention to detail, strong work ethic, and ability to work in a fast-paced environment will be essential in ensuring the quality and timeliness of our products.

Responsibilities:
  • Clean and prepare meat products for cutting and packaging.
  • Cut carcasses, sides, and quarters to meet customer demands.
  • Prepare special cuts of meat ordered by customers.
  • Cut, trim, and prepare standard cuts of meat.
  • Wrap and package prepared meats.
  • Remove bones from meat.
  • Weigh meats for sale.
  • Cut poultry into parts.
  • Price meat products.
  • Sell meats to customers.
  • Cut fish into steaks and fillets.
  • Supervise other butchers, meat cutters, and fishmongers.
  • Grind meats.
  • Train meat cutters.
  • Make special sausages.
  • Slice cooked meats.
  • Prepare special displays of meats, poultry, and fish products.
  • Prepare special orders.
Requirements:

To succeed as a Meat Cutting Specialist, you should have:

  • A Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • At least 1 year of experience in a related field.
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
