Michael Garron Hospital is seeking an experienced Oncology Nursing Expert to join our team. As an Oncology Nursing Expert, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality nursing care to patients with cancer and hematological disorders. This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced nurse to contribute to the provision of excellent patient care and participate in interdisciplinary practice.

Key Responsibilities
The successful candidate will be responsible for:
- Assessing patients' physical and emotional needs
- Developing and implementing individualized care plans
- Delivering high-quality nursing care, including administering medications and treatments
- Collaborating with other healthcare professionals to achieve optimal patient outcomes
- Maintaining accurate and comprehensive clinical documentation
Requirements
To be successful as an Oncology Nursing Expert, you will require:
- A current Certificate of Registration issued by the College of Nurses of Ontario
- 2-3 years recent experience in Oncology and Cancer Therapy (Chemotherapy/Biotherapy)
- Demonstrated clinical competence in the delivery of IV and Oral Chemotherapy/Biotherapy, blood/blood products
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- The ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
