Job Summary:The Cardiac Ultrasound Technologist will be responsible for operating ultrasound imaging equipment to produce and record high-quality images of the heart and blood vessels. You will work closely with our medical team to evaluate patient data, make adjustments to equipment as needed, and provide personalized assistance to patients during treatments.
Key Responsibilities:- Operate ultrasound imaging equipment to produce and record high-quality images of the heart and blood vessels
- Monitor examinations to evaluate image quality and consistency, making adjustments to equipment as required
- Record, store, and process scanned images using camera units connected to ultrasound equipment
- Provide personalized assistance to patients during treatments
- Prepare examination reports for physicians
- Check ultrasound equipment to ensure proper operation
- Organize day-to-day business operations
- CRCS - Canadian Registered Cardiac Sonographer certification
- American Registry of Diagnostic Medical Sonographers Certification
- Canadian Society of Diagnostic Medical Sonographers Registration
- 2 years to less than 3 years of experience in a related field
- Other trades certificate or diploma
This is a casual position working in a hospital/medical facility or clinic setting. You will work under pressure, with a combination of sitting, standing, and walking. You must be able to distinguish between colors and work in a fast-paced environment.
