Job Title: Physiotherapist - Falls Prevention Program

We are seeking a highly skilled Physiotherapist to join our team at Halton Healthcare. As a Physiotherapist, you will play a critical role in our Falls Prevention Program, working collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team to provide high-quality patient care.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct Falls Clinic Assessments and develop individualized exercise programs for patients
  • Supervise the exercise component of the program, ensuring patient safety and progress
  • Collaborate with Geriatrician, RN, and PTAs to provide comprehensive patient care
  • Assess patient eligibility for the program and make recommendations for participation
Requirements:
  • Bachelor of Science or Master of Science in Physiotherapy from a recognized institution
  • Current registration with the College of Physiotherapists of Ontario, with evidence of insurance coverage
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment
  • Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple responsibilities
  • Ability to motivate and support patients, with a patient-centered approach to care
