HORIBA Canada Inc. is seeking a skilled Computer Numerical Control (CNC) Machinist to join our team. As a key member of our manufacturing department, you will be responsible for setting up, operating, and maintaining CNC machine tools to perform precision machining operations.

Responsibilities:
  • Read and interpret engineering drawings, blueprints, and charts to plan the best sequence of operations.
  • Compute dimensions and tolerances, measure, and lay out work pieces.
  • Set up and program machine tools for use by machining tool operators.
  • Verify dimensions of products for accuracy and conformance to specifications using precision measuring instruments.
  • Ensure all documentation is properly filled out, control allocated time on components, route sheets, and equipment maintenance records.

Requirements:
The successful candidate must have at least 1 year of experience as a machinist, specifically with CNC programming experience. A secondary school diploma or equivalent is required, and a 2-year Electromechanical Engineering Technician course is an asset. The applicant must speak, read, and write in English. Successful candidates will be remunerated at $28.50 per hour and receive health benefits.
