Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Procurement and Contract Specialist to join our team at RONA Inc. This is a key role that requires strong analytical and communication skills, as well as the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Validate and complete requisitions to issue purchase orders;
  • Perform administrative work related to contract management;
  • Send contracts to suppliers for signature;
  • Follow up on contracts in signature;
  • Update systems to produce performance indicators;
  • Digitize procurement and contract management documents;
  • Negotiate with suppliers on prices, delivery times, and commercial aspects;
  • Update Service Now and network directories for contracts and other systems;
  • Ensure follow-up of purchase orders with stakeholders;
  • Inform stakeholders when goods are discontinued and ensure follow-up for replacement products.

Requirements

  • College diploma or equivalent;
  • Three years of experience as a procurement technician;
  • High standard of customer service;
  • Very good working knowledge of Microsoft Office tools;
  • Ability to work under pressure;
  • Ability to work in a team;
  • Ability to adapt easily to change;
  • Organizational skills and attention to quality in work execution;
  • Demonstrates autonomy and initiative.
