**Job Summary**

We are currently seeking an Electromechanic Bobbiner to join our team at MEL's repair shop for electric motors located in Jonquière.

**Key Responsibilities**

  • Under the supervision of the Production Supervisor, you will be responsible for performing repair and bobbin work on electric motors and other equipment as required by the client.
  • You will identify problems on all types of electric motors, or others, brought to the repair shop;
  • Determine the parts to replace or repair;
  • Perform repair work in accordance with established procedures;
  • Ensure the quality of the work performed;
  • Be responsible for the bobbin work of electric motors AC monophasic & triphasic (-600, 2300, 4160, 6000 and 13800 volts) DC induced & stator;
  • Take all necessary measures to protect your safety and that of your colleagues by respecting safety rules, policies and procedures;
  • Participate in the identification of risks and the search for solutions or ideas for improving safety;
  • Perform all other related tasks as needed.

**Requirements**

  • D.E.P. in Electromechanics or equivalent;
  • Pertinent experience in mechanics or electromechanics (2 to 3 years);
  • Technical knowledge of electric motors (an asset);
  • Good mechanical skills and knowledge;
  • Good manual dexterity, attention to detail;
  • Teamwork;
  • Motivation to achieve objectives;
  • Analytical spirit.

**Work Schedule**

  • 40 hours per week from Monday to Friday
