About the Role

We are seeking a reliable and skilled Pizza Delivery Driver to join our team at TJ's Pizza. As a Pizza Delivery Driver, you will be responsible for delivering our delicious pizzas to customers in a timely and efficient manner.

Key Responsibilities
  • Operate and Drive Vehicles: Safely operate and drive automobiles, vans, and light trucks to pick up and deliver various items and products.
  • Sell Products: Sell products over established routes, ensuring that customers receive excellent service and are satisfied with their purchases.
  • Load and Unload Goods: Load and unload goods from vehicles, taking care to ensure that products are handled with care and delivered in good condition.
  • Use Maps and Planning Aids: Use maps and other trip planning aids to optimize delivery routes and ensure timely delivery of products.
  • Record Trip Information: Record trip information, including vehicle mileage, fuel costs, and any problems encountered during delivery.
  • Pay and Receive Payments: Pay and receive payments for goods, ensuring that all transactions are accurate and secure.
  • Perform Vehicle Inspections: Perform pre-trip, en route, and post-trip inspections of vehicles, ensuring that they are in good working condition and meet safety standards.
Requirements
  • Class 5/5F/G Licence: Possess a valid Class 5/5F/G Licence (cars, small trucks, and other 2-axle vehicles).
  • Attention to Detail: Demonstrate attention to detail, ensuring that all tasks are completed accurately and efficiently.
  • Tight Deadlines: Work well under tight deadlines, prioritizing tasks and managing time effectively to meet delivery schedules.
  • Work Term: Commit to a permanent work term, ensuring continuity and stability in our delivery operations.
  • Work Language: Communicate effectively in English, ensuring clear and accurate communication with customers and colleagues.
  • Hours: Work a regular schedule of 32 to 35 hours per week, ensuring a healthy work-life balance.
