Role Summary

We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Clerk to join our Sample Management team at the Senneville location. In this role, you will be responsible for handling frozen study samples, ensuring all samples received are accounted for and stored properly.

This position allows the laboratory to have all required samples for analysis in a timely and organized manner.

The primary responsibilities of this position include:

  • Receiving, verifying, and storing samples;
  • Preparing samples for analysis in the laboratory;
  • Ensuring the integrity of studies and compliance with regulatory agencies by performing activities according to Good Laboratory Practices (GLP), Standard Operating Procedures (SOP), and Institutional Animal Care and Use Committee (IACUC) rules;
  • Performing all other related duties as assigned.
Key Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need to have:

  • A high school diploma;
  • Evidence of flexibility and ability to work independently;
  • A basic working knowledge of computers;
  • The ability to quickly adapt to changes;
  • 1-2 years of relevant experience is an asset.

We offer a competitive compensation package, including a pay rate of $16.75 per hour, and a flexible schedule with the option to work more days if desired. Additionally, we provide a free shuttle service from the Sainte-Anne-de-Bellevue train station and John Abbott College to the Senneville site, as well as free parking for those who drive.
