Retail Store Manager

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Retail Store Manager to join our team at Youth Jobs Canada. As a key member of our organization, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our retail store, ensuring excellent customer service, and driving sales growth.
Key Responsibilities- Plan, direct, and evaluate the operations of our retail store, ensuring alignment with our business objectives.
- Manage a team of sales associates, providing guidance, coaching, and feedback to ensure excellent customer service and sales performance.
- Study market research and trends to determine consumer demand and develop effective marketing strategies to drive sales growth.
- Determine merchandise and services to be sold, and implement price and credit policies to maximize profitability.
- Locate, select, and procure merchandise for resale, ensuring high-quality products and competitive pricing.
- Develop and implement sales and marketing strategies to drive sales growth and increase customer engagement.
- Plan budgets and authorize expenditures, ensuring effective financial management and control.
- Resolve customer complaints and concerns in a timely and professional manner.
- Determine staffing requirements and hire or oversee the hiring of sales associates to meet business needs.
- Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
- 1 to less than 7 months of experience in retail sales or management.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, with tight deadlines and attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with customers, colleagues, and management.
- Ability to supervise 3-4 people and provide guidance, coaching, and feedback to ensure excellent customer service and sales performance.
