Women's Sport Psychologist/Mental Performance Coach

Golf Canada is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Women Sport Psychologist/Mental Performance Coach to join our team. As a key member of our coaching staff, you will play a critical role in supporting the mental performance of our elite female golfers.
Key Responsibilities:- Develop and implement mental performance programs to enhance the well-being and performance of our female golfers.
- Provide one-on-one and group coaching sessions to help athletes develop mental skills, techniques, and strategies to overcome performance barriers.
- Collaborate with our coaching staff to create a comprehensive support system for our athletes, including mental performance assessments, goal setting, and progress monitoring.
- Identify trends and areas for improvement in golf and develop strategies to address them, contributing to the growth and development of our athletes.
- Participate in annual debriefs and performance reviews to ensure continuous improvement and growth.
- Professional designation in Sport Psychology or equivalent.
- Minimum five years of experience in high-performance sport, with a strong background in golf or a related field.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with athletes, coaches, and other stakeholders.
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment and contribute to a positive and inclusive team culture.
- Flexibility to travel nationally and internationally as required.
