We are seeking a skilled Mechanic Assistant to join our team at DEOL ROAD CARRIER LTD. As a key member of our operations team, you will provide critical support to our mechanics and tradespersons in maintaining our fleet of vehicles and equipment.
Key Responsibilities- Assist mechanics and tradespersons with daily tasks, including moving equipment and tools, and holding stakes during surveying activities.
- Signal safety procedures to other workers and the general public, ensuring a safe working environment.
- Help tradespersons, apprentices, and other workers as directed, providing support and guidance as needed.
- Clean machines and immediate work areas, maintaining a clean and organized workspace.
This role requires a physically demanding individual who can handle a combination of sitting, standing, walking, bending, crouching, and kneeling. You will also be required to handle heavy loads and work under pressure.
Weight HandlingYou will be required to lift up to 9 kg (20 lbs) and work in a fast-paced environment.
ExperienceThis role is ideal for individuals with 1 to less than 7 months of experience in a related field.
Government ProgramsWe are a recognized employer offering permanent employment with a 35 to 40 hour workweek and English as the primary language of work.
