Healthcare Professional

The Healthcare Professional will be responsible for providing high-quality nursing care to patients in the emergency department. Key responsibilities include:
- Providing nursing care to patients, both independently and as part of an interdisciplinary team.
- Enhancing the quality of life for patients and their families by consulting, conferring, and collaborating with other healthcare providers.
- Demonstrating continuous improvement and evidence-based practice in nursing care.
- Maintaining and advancing own clinical competence.
- Participating in designated hospital committees and approved research projects as assigned.
This is a relief full-time opportunity that requires flexibility in scheduling. Shifts will be rotated between days and nights, with varying start and end times.
About the Work Environment:
The emergency department at Interior Health Authority is a state-of-the-art facility that offers 26 beds, two trauma rooms, and two secure rooms. The department is equipped with advanced technology, including cardiac monitoring, diagnostic imaging, and communication devices. The Healthcare Professional will work in a fast-paced environment that requires strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills.
