Geriatric Nursing Professional

As a Geriatric Nursing Professional at Aspira Island Park Retirement Living, you will play a critical role in enhancing the lives of our residents. Your passion for delivering high-quality care and commitment to the Team Member Experience will make a significant impact.

The ideal candidate will have a minimum of one year of experience in Geriatric Nursing, Healthcare, and/or Rehabilitation as a Registered Practical Nurse (RPN). A current registration with the College of Nurses of Ontario, Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS) Certificate, and Medication Administration Certificate are also required.

Responsibilities will include preparing and administering prescribed medications and treatments, documenting and following up on concerns and complaints, promoting self-care and self-sufficiency, and completing required assessments and care plans.

As a valued member of our team, you will have the opportunity to support unregulated care workers through guidance, direction, training, and education. A current Medication Administration Certificate and a minimum of one year of experience in Geriatric Nursing, Healthcare, and/or Rehabilitation as a Registered Practical Nurse (RPN) are required.
