Key Responsibilities:- Reporting and Administration: Prepare and submit accurate reports on a regular basis to management and other stakeholders.
- Maintenance and Repair: Arrange for maintenance and repair work to be completed in a timely manner to minimize downtime and ensure fleet reliability.
- Workforce Management: Train and supervise a team of 3-4 employees, providing guidance and support to ensure they have the skills and knowledge needed to perform their duties effectively.
- Logistics and Coordination: Co-ordinate and assign work tasks, requisition materials and equipment as needed, and establish work schedules and procedures to ensure efficient operations.
- Quality and Productivity: Work with employees to identify areas for improvement and implement measures to increase productivity and quality.
- Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
- Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a transportation or logistics role.
- Work Environment: Fast-paced environment with tight deadlines and a focus on attention to detail.
- Physical Demands: Ability to lift up to 23 kg (50 lbs) and work in a variety of weather conditions.
- Personal Suitability: Accurate, client-focused, excellent communication skills, flexibility, and organizational skills.
- Permanent Full-Time Position: 30-35 hours per week.
- Green Job: This role involves duties and responsibilities that lead to positive environmental outcomes.
- Language: English.
