Cybersecurity Specialist

American Iron & Metal Co is a leading metal recycling company with a strong commitment to environmental sustainability. We are seeking a highly skilled Cybersecurity Analyst to join our team and contribute to our mission of creating a greener future.
Job SummaryWe are looking for a dynamic and experienced Cybersecurity Analyst to strengthen our security team. The selected candidate will be responsible for developing robust cybersecurity solutions, conducting detailed vulnerability scans of our infrastructure, managing specialized tools like Qualys, Delinea, and actively participating in SecOps activities to protect the business from existing and emerging threats.
Key Responsibilities- Cybersecurity Solution Design and Implementation: Develop and deploy strategies and tools to secure the company's IT assets.
- Cyber Security Tool Management: Manage and optimize the use of a variety of cyber security tools included in the information security management system.
- Participate in SecOps activities: Improve security posture through continuous monitoring, incident management, and rapid response.
- Technology Watch: Stay informed of the latest trends and technologies in cybersecurity to anticipate and defend against new threats.
- Training and mentoring: Provide training and guidance to infrastructure teams on infrastructure security best practices.
- Degree in computer science, information security, or related field.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in a similar position.
- In-depth expertise in vulnerability scanning and patch management tools, Penetration Testing, as well as information security management systems.
- Technical knowledge: Azure, VMWare, Windows Servers, Office365, Active Directory, GPO, SentinelOne, Delinea, Qualys, Forescout, Linux, Kali, PowerShell, Shellscript, Fortinet FW, FortiAnalyzer, FortiSiem.
- A certification such as CISSP, CEH, or CompTIA Security+ is highly recommended.
- Ability to analyze complex data and make recommendations based on analytics.
This is a hybrid position, requiring 2-3 days per week in our Montreal-East office.
