Ponderosa Motor Inn is seeking a Laundry Operations Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our operations department, you will be responsible for the efficient operation of our laundry facilities.
Job Description:The Laundry Operations Specialist will be responsible for maintaining and operating laundry equipment, including washers, dryers, and folding machines. This includes performing routine maintenance tasks, such as cleaning and lubricating machinery, as well as troubleshooting and resolving any technical issues that may arise.
In addition to equipment maintenance, the Laundry Operations Specialist will also be responsible for receiving, processing, and delivering laundry items to guests and staff members. This includes sorting, washing, drying, folding, and ironing garments, as well as packaging and labeling items for delivery.
Attention to detail and strong organizational skills are essential for this role, as you will be working in a fast-paced environment with multiple priorities and deadlines. You must be able to work independently and as part of a team, and be willing to adapt to changing circumstances and priorities.
Required Skills and Qualifications:- High school diploma or equivalent required; post-secondary education in a related field an asset
- 1-2 years of experience in a laundry or hospitality-related role
- Strong knowledge of laundry equipment and processes
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for long periods of time

The estimated annual salary for this position is $43,500-$51,600 based on location and experience.
