Overview

The Warehouse Equipment Operator role at NFI Industries requires a skilled individual to operate material handling equipment, such as forklifts and clamp trucks, to move and store merchandise in a safe and efficient manner.

The ideal candidate will have prior experience in warehouse operations and be able to lift up to 50 pounds, stand for long periods, and work in a fast-paced environment. Additionally, they must be able to complete an inspection form before operating equipment and demonstrate excellent customer service skills.

Responsibilities
  • Operate material handling equipment, including forklifts and clamp trucks, to move and store merchandise.
  • Ensure the safe and efficient operation of equipment and follow prescribed work methods.
  • Pull and prepare products for shipment, ensuring accurate inventory levels.
  • Stack and store merchandise in designated areas using a forklift or other equipment.
  • Unload inbound shipments and move product to storage locations.
  • Perform picking duties efficiently, meeting customer service standards.

Qualifications
  • High School Diploma/GED preferred.
  • At least 3 months of forklift experience and/or using warehouse distribution equipment.
  • Lifting up to 50 pounds without restriction.
  • Ability to stand/walk for up to 10-12 hours.
  • Regular bending, lifting, stretching, and reaching both below the waist and above the head.

Salary and Benefits
NFI Industries offers a competitive hourly rate of $19.00 per hour, with opportunities for shift differentials and additional benefits.
