Key Responsibilities

The successful candidate will be responsible for the following key areas:

  • Supervising a team of dispatchers for local and long-distance transport
  • Ensuring seamless communication with external and internal customers
  • Integrating, training, coaching, and mentoring employees
  • Controlling costs related to the sector
  • Placing orders for supplies and materials
  • Maintaining accurate records and reports

The ideal candidate will possess excellent management and leadership skills, as well as strong organizational and time-management skills. They must also have:

  • Minimum experience of 3 to 5 years in personnel management
  • Experience in the transportation field required
  • College diploma in logistics and transportation (asset)
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, and Outlook)
  • Bilingualism required (spoken and written)
  • Stress resistance and ability to work under pressure
