About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Senior Cardiologist to join our dynamic team at Vancouver General Hospital. As a key member of our cardiac care team, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care and contributing to the development and growth of our cardiology education and research programs.

Job Summary

The successful candidate will have a strong track record in general cardiology and possess FRCPC designation in Internal Medicine and Cardiology. They must be eligible for licensure in the Province of British Columbia and have a specific interest and aptitude in General Cardiology. This role also includes clinical faculty responsibilities within the Division of Cardiology at the University of British Columbia (UBC).

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide expert patient care and management in general cardiology
  • Contribute to the development and growth of cardiology education and research programs
  • Participate in clinical rotations and teaching activities with medical students and residents
  • Collaborate with other critical care colleagues to provide comprehensive patient care
Requirements
  • FRCPC designation in Internal Medicine and Cardiology
  • Eligibility for licensure in the Province of British Columbia
  • Strong track record in general cardiology
  • Specific interest and aptitude in General Cardiology
