Job Title: Caregiver

At Sunrise Senior Living, we are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Caregiver to join our team. As a Caregiver, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional care and support to our residents, enhancing their quality of life and promoting their overall well-being.

Responsibilities:
  • Build meaningful relationships with residents and their families, providing personalized care and support to meet their unique needs and preferences.
  • Assist residents with activities of daily living, such as bathing, dressing, and grooming, while promoting their independence and dignity.
  • Monitor and report any changes in a resident's condition, ensuring timely interventions and adjustments to their care plan.
  • Participate in the development and implementation of Individualized Service Plans (ISPs), working collaboratively with the care team to ensure resident-centered care.
  • Respond to resident needs and concerns, providing emotional support and reassurance as needed.
  • Collaborate with the care team to ensure a safe and supportive environment, adhering to Sunrise's Principles of Service and promoting a culture of excellence.
Qualifications:
  • Dedication to serving seniors with a passion for delivering exceptional customer service.
  • Must have a BC registry number and meet provincial regulations.
  • Positive attitude, flexibility, and ability to work in a team environment are essential.
  • High School diploma/GED accepted, with certifications as required.
  • Previous experience working with seniors is preferred.
  • Ability to make choices, decisions, and act in the resident's best interest.
  • Competent in organizational and time management skills, with good judgment, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities.
