Job Title: Drywall Installer

Truerock interior systems ltd is seeking a skilled Drywall Installer to join our team. As a Drywall Installer, you will be responsible for installing drywall sheets, taping joints, and applying successive coats of compound to create smooth surfaces.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Measure, cut, fit, and install drywall sheets
  • Position and secure sheets to metal or wooden studs or joists
  • Apply successive coats of compound and sand seams and joints
  • Tape over joints using a taping machine and embed tape in compound
  • Fabricate and install suspended metal ceiling grids and place in panels to form acoustical and coffered ceilings
Work Environment:

As a Drywall Installer, you will work in a variety of settings, including residential and commercial locations. You will be exposed to noisy environments and will be required to work outdoors on occasion.

Requirements:
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
  • 1 year to less than 2 years of experience
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Physical stamina to perform manual labor
Working Conditions and Physical Capabilities:

You will be required to work in a physically demanding environment, with frequent bending, crouching, and kneeling. You will also be required to stand for extended periods and lift up to 23 kg (50 lbs).
