  • You will be responsible for supervising underground production and development mining crews to achieve rapid development targets of the mine plan.
  • Comply with all safety and standard operating procedures by being a positive safety leader to prioritize Safe Production.
  • Provide front-line supervision of day-to-day activities, motivating and providing feedback to workers on the production and development crews.
  • Coordinate jumbo activities, managing the bolt, screen and boring process, which is all completed by the jumbo.
  • Lead crew line-up meetings and facilitate the implementation of new technologies and work practices at Hemlo.

The successful candidate will have a minimum of 3-5 years of experience in a supervisory role and a strong understanding of underground hard rock mining processes. They will also possess excellent communication, organizational and time management skills, as well as the ability to work in a cross-cultural environment.
