Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Stationary Engineer Apprentice to join our team at Bartek Ingredients Inc. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for maintaining and operating our power plant equipment, ensuring the smooth operation of our facilities.

Key Responsibilities
  • Analyze and record instrument readings and equipment malfunction to identify areas for improvement and optimize plant performance.
  • Assist in the development of operation, maintenance, and safety procedures to ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations.
  • Investigate problems to fix or make minor repairs, minimizing downtime and ensuring the reliability of our equipment.
  • Monitor and inspect plant equipment and systems to detect equipment malfunctioning and ensure plant systems are operating normally.
  • Perform routine equipment maintenance to prevent breakdowns and extend the lifespan of our equipment.
  • Start up and shut down power plant equipment, ensuring a safe and efficient operation.
Requirements
  • Education: Other trades certificate or diploma.
  • Experience: 7 months to less than 1 year.
  • Stationary Engineering Trade Certification.
Benefits
  • As per collective agreement.

  • Hours: 80 to 84 hours bi-weekly.
