We are seeking a skilled Landscape Labourer to join our team at 1811979 Ontario Inc. As a key member of our outdoor maintenance team, you will be responsible for assisting with landscape constructions, weeding, pruning, and trimming trees and plants, as well as carting and spreading topsoil and other materials.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assist with landscape constructions, including laying sod or seed and planting bulbs, flowers, shrubs, and trees.
  • Weed, prune, and trim trees and plants to maintain a well-manicured appearance.
  • Cart and spread topsoil and other materials as needed.
  • Operate and maintain landscape maintenance equipment, including lawn mowers, trimmers, and other tools.
  • Water and tend to plants, lawns, and/or gardens to ensure optimal growth and health.
Work Environment:

As a Landscape Labourer, you will work outdoors in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines. You will be required to handle heavy loads and work in physically demanding conditions. You must be able to work independently and as part of a team, with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Requirements:
  • No degree, certificate, or diploma is required, but you must be willing to learn and train on the job.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines.
  • Physical stamina to handle heavy loads and work in physically demanding conditions.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
What We Offer:

We offer a seasonal work term with 40-50 hours of work per week. You will have the opportunity to work with a diverse team and gain valuable experience in the landscaping industry. We also offer mentorship programs and on-the-job training tailored to your needs.
