Genomics Data Analyst Specialist

Oncology Research Role:
The Senior Data Analyst will support oncology research and development through the analysis of clinical and genomic real-world data. The role requires collaboration with scientists, clinical data managers, and informatics teams to drive data-driven insights in cancer research.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform cancer genomic data analysis with and without clinical data.
- Manage workflows and data requests from internal and external teams.
- Develop and maintain tools for data analysis and program workflows.
- Communicate with collaborators to track data usage in oncology R&D.
- Lead and schedule meetings with stakeholders.
Requirements & Qualifications:
- Background in cancer biology, cancer genomics, or epidemiology.
- Experience working with real-world data (e.g., electronic health records, claims data).
- Proficiency in computational bioinformatics using R or Python.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Good collaboration and communication skills.
- Preferred: Experience analyzing genomic data (DNA, RNAseq, whole exome).
- Familiarity with data visualization and management.
- Knowledge of public/private genomic data resources (e.g., TCGA, cBioPortal).
- Education: Master's or Ph.D. in genomics, molecular biology, cancer biology, bioinformatics, or related fields with 2+ years of experience.
