Security Officer Job Description

At Paladin Security, we are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Security Officer to join our team. As a Security Officer, you will be responsible for ensuring the safety and security of our clients and their properties.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Patrol interior and exterior of facilities to prevent unauthorized entry and detect potential security threats
  • Respond to alarms and emergency calls for assistance, and take appropriate action to resolve the situation
  • Monitor CCTV cameras and other security systems to identify potential security risks
  • Screen visitors and clients to grant access to the facility, while maintaining a professional and courteous demeanor
  • Communicate effectively with clients, staff, and other stakeholders to ensure a smooth and secure operation

Requirements:

  • 2+ years of experience in a security-related role
  • Valid security certification (e.g. SIA, PSIA)
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Physical fitness and ability to work in a fast-paced environment
