Abiona Centre is a leading Children's Mental Health Centre dedicated to empowering young pregnant and parenting women, children and families through holistic programs and services.
We provide a residential care and treatment program, supportive transitional housing, on-site high school program, community housing support and referral services, and maternal infant mental health programs and services in a non-judgmental, inclusive environment.
Our team works collaboratively with community partners to provide comprehensive support that responds to mental health, education, and transitional needs of our clients.
**Job Summary**
This part-time position will work closely with our multidisciplinary team to provide therapeutic support and guidance to families in need.
The ideal candidate will have excellent interpersonal and conflict resolution skills, as well as the ability to create a safe and nurturing environment for our clients.
**Key Responsibilities:**
- Provide individual and group support to families in our live-in treatment and transitional housing program
- Collaborate with our team to develop and implement therapeutic plans
- Maintain accurate records and reports
**Requirements:**
- Child and Youth Worker Diploma or related Bachelor's degree
- Current Standard First Aid, CPR and CPI certifications
- At least one year of experience working with children and families
