Our team is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Embedded Software Engineer to help build an innovative eye-tracking product. As a key member of our software team, you will be responsible for designing and developing our next-generation embedded platform, implementing new features, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to identify project requirements and create solutions.


Key Responsibilities


  • Design and develop our next-generation embedded platform, ensuring strict size, power, and performance requirements are met.
  • Implement new features and functionalities for our eye-tracking product, working closely with the software team and cross-functional teams.
  • Develop and maintain software development kits (SDKs) and tools for communicating and interacting with our eye tracker.
  • Collaborate with the product and customer teams to identify project requirements and create APIs and architectures.
  • Participate in code reviews, API design, and planning meetings to ensure high-quality software development.
  • Work closely with the hardware team to ensure seamless integration and testing of hardware and software components.


Requirements


  • Significant experience writing C code for embedded MCUs, such as the Cortex-M series.
  • Experience with Python and common embedded tooling.
  • Experience with hardware design and board bringup.
  • An understanding of common hardware peripherals and interfaces.
  • Familiarity with tools like Git, Bitbucket, Jenkins, Jira, etc.
