Job Summary

The Freight Systems Inc. is seeking an experienced long-haul truck driver to join our team. This role involves transporting goods across the country, ensuring timely delivery and maintaining a high level of customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Loading and unloading goods at various locations
  • Inspecting and maintaining vehicles, including tires, lights, brakes, cold storage, and other equipment
  • Performing emergency roadside repairs and pre-trip, en route, and post-trip inspections
  • Receiving and relaying information to central dispatch and recording cargo information, hours of service, distance traveled, and fuel consumption
Requirements:
  • Valid Class 1 or A driver's license
  • Ability to work extended periods on the road and maintain attention to detail
  • Willingness to travel for extended periods and adapt to changing situations
