About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Plumbing Specialist to join our team at Go Industries. As a key member of our crew, you will be responsible for installing, repairing, and maintaining plumbing fixtures and systems in commercial, industrial, and residential settings.

Responsibilities:
  • Accurately complete work orders to ensure timely project delivery.
  • Collaborate with project managers and customers to understand their needs and preferences.
  • Diagnose and resolve technical issues efficiently, presenting solutions in a clear and concise manner.
  • Install, repair, and maintain domestic, commercial, or industrial plumbing fixtures and systems, including pipes, fittings, and appliances.
  • Locate and mark positions for pipe connections, passage holes, and fixtures in walls and floors.
  • Cut openings in walls and floors to accommodate pipe and pipe fittings.
  • Measure, cut, bend, and thread pipes using hand and power tools or machines.
  • Join pipes using couplings, clamps, screws, bolts, cement, or soldering, brazing, and welding equipment.
  • Test pipes for leaks using air and water pressure gauges.
Requirements:
  • A valid 306 A license.
  • A valid G license with a clean driver abstract.
  • Solid knowledge and comprehension of the Ontario Plumber Code.
  • Commercial and industrial experience is an asset.
  • Competence in reading blueprints and plumbing schematics.
  • Ability to understand plumbing concepts and apply them effectively.
  • Basic knowledge of construction methods.
