Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Construction Estimator to join our team at Multitech Contracting 2000. As a key member of our construction team, you will be responsible for preparing accurate estimates of labour and material costs for our construction projects.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare detailed estimates of labour and material costs for construction projects
  • Read and analyze blueprints, drawings, and specifications to determine work requirements
  • Develop and submit estimate reports, quote sheets, and bid forms
  • Advise on tendering procedures and analyze tenders to recommend awards
  • Monitor and adjust contract expenditures
  • Liaise with engineers, architects, owners, contractors, and subcontractors on changes and adjustments to cost estimates
  • Prepare and submit construction project budget estimates
  • Review bids and negotiate costs
  • Prepare contracts and tenders

Requirements:

  • Minimum 2 years of experience as a Construction Estimator
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work accurately and efficiently under pressure

Compensation: $33.50-$35.00 per hour. Special consideration will be given to underrepresented groups.
