We are seeking a skilled Painter and Surface Finisher to join our team at Space Contractor Ltd. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for ensuring the highest quality surface finishes on our construction projects.
Key Responsibilities- Prepare and clean surfaces to be painted, including sanding and applying veneer, stain, or polish to finished products.
- Apply successive coats of compound and sand seams and joints to achieve a smooth finish.
- Clean up chemical spills and other contaminants, and remove rubble and other debris from construction sites.
- Paint small items and apply touch-ups using paint brushes, ensuring a high level of attention to detail.
- Basic security clearance
- Ability to work at heights, in confined spaces, and in dusty environments
- Willingness to relocate for the role, with relocation costs covered by the employer
- Flexibility, reliability, and strong team player skills
- Ability to lift up to 23 kg (50 lbs)
