Job Title: Assistant to the Care Manager

At COGIR Immobilier, we are committed to providing exceptional care and services to our residents. We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Assistant to the Care Manager to join our team.

Job Summary:

The Assistant to the Care Manager will play a vital role in supporting the planning and monitoring of activities related to the care and well-being of residents. This includes ensuring compliance with professional standards and regulations, as well as collaborating with external stakeholders to provide high-quality care.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Act as an intermediary for various external stakeholders, including doctors, pharmacists, and healthcare organizations.
  • Contribute to the clinical assessment and monitoring of residents, ensuring accurate and up-to-date work routes.
  • Collaborate in the staffing process, ensuring the reception, training, and integration of new employees.
  • Participate in staffing and billing analysis to improve the efficiency and profitability of health services.
  • Ensure the accuracy of data entered in work routes and maintain a high level of data integrity.
  • In the absence of the Health Services Manager, take charge of communication and maintain the bond of trust with residents, their families, and loved ones.
  • Participate in the establishment and maintenance of protocols necessary for prevention and appropriate care of residents.
  • Plan human resources and ensure timely replacement of care staff as needed.
  • Practice while respecting laws and standards in force, the scale of values of residents, and their beliefs.
  • Provide health and wellness care with the goal of maintaining and restoring health and preventing disease.
  • Take appropriate measures in emergency situations that may arise in the establishment.
Requirements:
  • Degree in nursing (DEC) or a professional studies diploma (DEP) in healthcare assistance or nursing.
  • Experience in personnel management.
  • Working knowledge of Word, Excel, and Outlook software.
  • Member of the OIIAQ.
  • Up-to-date general first aid CPR/AED training.
  • Experience in personnel management (an asset).
  • Minimum experience of 3 to 5 years in nursing.
  • Comfort in using computer tools.
