About the Role

We are seeking a quality engineer to support, improve, and drive elements of our quality standards. This position is responsible for the overall quality of manufactured products and processes. You will work collaboratively with other parts of the organization and team members to maximize success for Trystar and our customers.

Key Responsibilities
  • Support creation and implementation of quality procedures, specifications, standards, data collection, and metrics to ensure products meet or exceed requirements.
  • Drive cross-functional collaboration to create, update, and maintain process Control Plans and FMEA's.
  • Provide technical assistance as it relates to process capability and defect detection or prevention.
  • Ensure manufacturability and process controls are realized through product release engagement.
  • Analyze information and facilitate cross-functional efforts to systematically mitigate risk in problem areas.
  • Ensure results of root cause analysis are addressed.

Requirements
  • BS in Engineering or related technical discipline.
  • Understanding of manufacturing and assembly methods such as fixtures, tooling, and fabrication & gaging methodology and metrology.
  • Ability to read and verify electrical verbiage/standards and apply it to the product.
  • Ability to verify electrical components in a product and use meter equipment.
  • Awareness of electrical standards or compliance certifications (UL, ETL, CSA).
  • Strong team facilitation skills and the ability to motivate teams and individuals not in a direct line of control to advance on improvement projects.
  • Analytical and computer skills with experience with Epicor ERP / MRP or similar and Microsoft 365.
