Job Summary

The Culinary Specialist will be responsible for preparing and cooking complete meals or individual dishes and foods. This role requires attention to detail, fast-paced environment, and physically demanding tasks.

Key Responsibilities
  • Food Preparation and Cooking: Prepare and cook complete meals or individual dishes and foods.
  • Kitchen Inspection: Inspect kitchens and food service areas to ensure cleanliness and organization.
  • Staff Training: Train staff in preparation, cooking, and handling of food.
  • Supply Management: Order supplies and equipment as needed.
  • Kitchen Supervision: Supervise kitchen staff and helpers to ensure efficient workflow.
  • Inventory Management: Maintain inventory and records of food, supplies, and equipment.
  • Cleaning and Maintenance: Clean kitchen and work areas to maintain a safe and healthy environment.
Requirements
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Experience: 7 months to less than 1 year of experience in a similar role.
  • Language: Fluency in English.
  • Work Environment: Restaurant setting in an urban area.
