Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Tractor-Trailer Truck Driver to join our team at N.S. CONSTRUCTION CARRIERS LIMITED. As a key member of our transportation team, you will be responsible for safely operating a tractor-trailer and transporting goods across various routes.

Key Responsibilities
  • Operate a tractor-trailer and transport goods across various routes, adhering to all safety regulations and company policies.
  • Perform pre-trip, en-route, and post-trip inspections to ensure the vehicle is in good working condition.
  • Oversee the condition of the vehicle and inspect tires, lights, brakes, cold storage, and other equipment.
  • Address customers' complaints or concerns in a professional and courteous manner.
  • Mountain driving expertise and professionalism in customer service are essential for this role.
Requirements
  • Air Brakes Endorsement and Air Brake (Z) Endorsement are required for this position.
  • A valid Driver's License (Class 1 or A) and a clean driving record are necessary.
  • CPR Certificate and First Aid Certificate are also required.
  • Experience with dump trucks and gravel or dump trucks is an asset.
