Agronomist Intern

This internship provides an opportunity for students in the Ag Industry to gain hands-on experience in the Simplot Grower Solutions trade area. The successful candidate will assist in day-to-day operations, including product movement, inventory management, and agronomy duties.
Key Responsibilities- Assist in coordinating and executing product movement and organization
- Assist in loading and unloading of product from customers and suppliers
- Assist operations employees with various tasks, especially in busy season
- Conduct crop scouting and consult with local agronomists
- Assist with agronomy duties, including treating seed and maintaining inventory
- Participate in the agPROVE Trial Program, executing and maintaining field signing initiatives
- Ride-alongs and role shadowing other roles in the company
- Enrolled in post-secondary education in the Ag Industry
- Valid Class 5 driver's license
- Manual dexterity and manual labor
- Agri-Industry Hours - overtime, as required
- Indoor and outdoor setting
