Security Identity Manager

About the Role:
The IAM Security Specialist will be responsible for collaborating with application and identity owners to remediate identity security issues detected by the Crowdstrike platform. This role will also work with teams to support other IAM platforms to prevent or automate remediation for identity risks detected by our monitoring tools or other security vulnerability findings.
Key Responsibilities:
- Identity Security Solutions: Improve identity and access management solutions and systems for protection against evolving threats and improve efficiency.
- Identity Misconfigurations: Detect identity misconfigurations or suspicious access requests and block them or respond to them.
- Digital Identity Security: Remediate digital identity security risks identified by security monitoring tools.
- Identity Owner Engagement: Run campaigns to have identity owners fix security issues detected on their digital identities.
- IAM Tool Management: Work with the owners of IAM tools to prevent identities from being configured with risky configurations or more privileges than are required.
- Technical Documentation: Responsible for writing Technical Specs.
Requirements:
- Education and Experience: University degree/college diploma in related discipline(s) or equivalent work experience, and/or 5+ years in security IT industry experience.
- Industry Recognition: Industry recognized Information Security designation (e.g. CISSP, CISA, CISM) will be an asset.
- Technical Skills: Technical skills in SQL, Active Directory, Linux.
- Automation Experience: Technical skills in developing/maintaining automation for application security tasks.
- IAM Platform Experience: Experience with SailPoint IdentityIQ.
- CrowdStrike Experience: Prior experience with the Identity Protection Services part of CrowdStrike.
- Collaboration and Communication: Collaborate effectively across technical teams, security engineering teams and IAM teams by getting and providing context for decisions, challenged assumptions etc.
- Additional Skills: Experience with other multi-factor authentication platforms and processes is an asset.

Salary Range: $61,000 - $100,000
