Clinical Lead for Eating Disorders Program

Job Summary
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Social Work Clinician to join our team at BC Children's Hospital. As a Clinical Lead for our Eating Disorders Program, you will be responsible for providing advanced level clinical services, including family therapy, to patients and families in our Intense Treatment Service (ITS), inpatient, day treatment, and outpatient programs.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide clinical leadership and coordination of treatment for patients and families, including family therapy and individual therapy sessions.
- Develop and implement treatment plans, including family-based treatment and cognitive behavioral therapy methods.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to provide comprehensive care and support to patients and families.
- Provide education and training to staff and community partners on eating disorders and family therapy.
- Participate in research and quality improvement initiatives to advance the field of eating disorders treatment.
Requirements
- Master's degree in Social Work from a recognized program.
- Minimum of three years of experience providing family therapy in a related mental health setting, including two years of experience with eating disorders.
- Post-masters certificate in family therapy from a recognized training program.
- Current full registration with the British Columbia College of Social Workers.
