Job Summary

Health Careers in Saskatchewan is seeking a skilled Diagnostic Imaging Specialist to join our team. As a Diagnostic Imaging Specialist, you will be responsible for performing a variety of specialized diagnostic technical procedures utilizing radiation equipment for the diagnosis and tracking of disease and pathology.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform diagnostic imaging procedures using radiation equipment
  • Operate and maintain radiation equipment
  • Develop and implement imaging protocols
  • Collaborate with healthcare teams to ensure accurate diagnoses

Requirements:

  • Two (2) years experience as a Medical Radiation Technologist
  • Medical Radiologic Technology diploma (MRT)
  • Certified by Canadian Association of Medical Radiation Technologists
  • Registered with Canadian Association of Medical Radiation Technologists
  • Registered College of Medical Radiation & Imaging Professionals of Saskatchewan

Preferred Qualifications:

  • CAMRT CT courses 1 and 2
  • Angiography training/certificate
  • Mammography training/certificate
  • Computerized Tomography training/certificate
