Job Summary:

The Mental Health Specialist will be responsible for providing comprehensive mental health assessments, care planning, and treatment coordination for designated clients and their families. This role will also involve working collaboratively with other healthcare providers and the multidisciplinary team to provide direct psychosocial care, counseling, and group work.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide comprehensive mental health assessments and care planning
  • Develop and implement treatment plans in collaboration with clients and their families
  • Work collaboratively with other healthcare providers and the multidisciplinary team
  • Provide direct psychosocial care, counseling, and group work
  • Coordinate client services and referrals

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Social Work or other relevant social or health sciences discipline from an accredited university
  • Two years' recent related Mental Health & Addictions experience in clinical areas, services, and programs
  • Eligible for registration with the relevant professional association
  • Valid BC Driver's License and access to personal vehicle for business-related purposes

Salary Range:

$73,000 - $93,000 per annum, depending on qualifications and experience.
