Maintenance Technician

We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Technician to join our Residential team in Inuvik, NT. As a critical member of our team, you will be responsible for ensuring the safety and quality of our buildings, while providing a positive experience for our residents.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Ensuring compliance with Northview's Health and Safety requirements
  • Performing drywall repairs, painting, and minor electrical and plumbing repairs
  • Assisting with minor renovations, including kitchen cabinet and door repairs
  • Repairing and replacing locks, and performing minor electrical repairs
  • Assisting with suite renovations and other minor upgrades
  • Responding to work orders and emergency situations in a timely manner
  • Conducting building inspections and maintaining tools and equipment
  • Working as part of an on-call rotation team responding to work orders and emergencies

Qualifications:

  • Previous experience in building maintenance
  • Able to provide a criminal record check that is free of relevant convictions
  • Able to lift up to 50 lbs, work with and climb stairs with equipment and supplies
