About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Environmental Engineer/Geoscientist to join our Mine Water & Environment team in Vancouver. As a key member of our multi-disciplinary team, you will support and lead contaminated site remediation projects, focusing on legacy and abandoned mine sites in Canada and globally.

Responsibilities

  • Contribute to project management, ensuring timely delivery of reports and presentations to clients.
  • Lead site characterization studies to evaluate sources of contamination, supported by early career professionals.
  • Plan and coordinate field visits with project management and client teams.
  • Oversee report delivery to clients from concept to review and submission.
  • Demonstrate a 'Safety-First' focus, adhering to health and safety policies at all sites.

Requirements

  • 7+ years of experience in contaminated site investigation and remediation, with emphasis on mine sites.
  • Registration as a Registered Professional Engineer/Geoscientist or eligibility for registration.
  • Project management experience, including reporting on contaminant characterization and remediation design.
  • Familiarity with developing technical specifications and design drawings for contaminant remediation projects.
  • Understanding of environmental chemistry, geology, and contaminant fate and transport.
