About the RoleThe UVic Student Wellness team operates a hybrid model of same-day and regular appointments, offering both in-person and virtual care. You will work alongside administrative staff, clinical counselors, psychologists, registered nurses, and spiritual care providers to support students in areas such as mental health, sexual health, and public health.
Key Responsibilities- Provide medical care to students in a collaborative and multidisciplinary environment
- Work with a team of healthcare professionals to support students' physical and mental health
- Participate in a hybrid model of same-day and regular appointments, including in-person and virtual care
- Contribute to the development and implementation of care plans for students
We are seeking a physician with experience in family medicine and a passion for working with students. You will have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, as well as the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
