About the Role

We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Housekeeping Assistant to join our team at Nathalie James. As a Housekeeping Assistant, you will be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and organization of our client's home.

Key Responsibilities
  • Cleaning and Maintenance: Sweep, mop, wash and polish floors, dust furniture, vacuum carpeting, area rugs, draperies and upholstered furniture, make beds and change sheets, stock linen closet, clean and disinfect kitchen and bathroom fixtures and appliances, launder clothing and household linens, mend clothing and linens, and perform light housekeeping and cleaning duties.
  • Housekeeping and Organization: Maintain a safe and healthy environment in the home, remove kitchen garbage and trash, and ensure that all areas of the home are clean and tidy.
  • Communication and Teamwork: Work effectively with our team to ensure that all tasks are completed to a high standard, and communicate any issues or concerns to our team in a timely manner.
Requirements
  • Education: No degree, certificate or diploma required.
  • Experience: Will train.
  • Work Environment: Non-smoking environment, optional accommodation available at no charge on a live-in basis.
  • Work Setting: Work in employer's/client's home, urban area.
  • Transportation: Public transportation available.
  • Language: English.
  • Work Hours: 30 hours per week.
